I was told I would receive a phone call from the officer in one week (one week is up today). If he doesn't call, how can I find out if I received my visa to travel? ....and get my passport back (he has it).

  1. From Mexico:

    Embajada de Estados Unidos

    Paseo de la Reforma 305

    Col. Cuauhtemoc

    06500 Mexico, D.F

    From the U.S.:

    American Embassy Mexico

    P.O. Box 9000

    Brownsville, TX 78520-9000

    TELEPHONE

    From Mexico:

    (01-55) 5080-2000

    From the U.S.:

    011-52-55-5080-2000

    FAX

    From Mexico:

    (01-55) 5511-9980

    From the U.S.:

    011-52-55-5511-9980

  2. You should have been given a receipt for your passport, and a sheet with contact information, when you left your passport with the Consular Section.  If not, see the site below for contact information regarding the US Embassy Mexico City:

    http://mexico.usembassy.gov/mexico/evisa...

However, consider sending an e-mail, instead:

    visas_mexico@state.gov <visas_mexico@state.gov>

  3. First, where are you? if your in mexico city, it's in the book.

Second, what officer did you give it to, make copies next time, never let your passport out of your sight, much less out of your hand.

Third, time is differant in Mexico, manana just means another day, I have no idea what they would mean by "next week".

Forth, Bueno suerte, that means good luck!
