Is there a paint or any other product that I can paint my woodgrain formica countertops that will adhere?

I have formica woodgrain cabinet counters that I do not like. Is there any kind of paint or product that I can paint on them to change the color that will adhere to the formica?

You can paint it, however,  it probably won't last very long.

There is a primer made for formica. You can get it a lowes or home depot. Lightly sand the surface first and get rid of all dust. Prime and let dry(follow directions!) I would then tape everything off and use drop cloths or paper and find a spray paint color that you like and spray several "light" coats. Use a satin or semi-gloss.You can roll paint on if you like-use an enamel.
