Yes, but I do not recommend traveling by car. If you do try to get there a bit earlier -like someone said it can get full fast. Personally I find it hassling to travel by car and prefer walking but if you must... you must. xD

Driving in Paris for a non local is a big mistake considering the excellent Metro system which connects virtually all major tourist destinations

Your best bet, unless you've got money to burn and can therefore afford the pay lots nearby, is to simply take public transportation: (Bir-Hakeim métro station- line 6, or Champ de Mars RER station- line C).
