  1. The PATH train operates between New York City and Jersey City, Hoboken, Harrison and Newark, NJ. Metro-North Railroad's New Haven operates between New York City any city in the State of Connecticut.

    Good luck

  2. There are no path/subway or shuttle bus from NY to CT, however there are

Metro-North's New Haven Line is cheaper than Amtrak.

Since Connecticut Station fare is set by Connection Transportation Department, fare increase does not apply.

During the snow, Connecticut Transit offers free snow shuttle bus service in Connecticut.

There are Connecticut Transit bus that runs from Westchester County either at White Plains or Port Chester.

PATH are subways in New Jersey operated by Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Metro-North, NYCT Subways and MTA Bus Company is under contract of Metropolitan Transit Authority, well as Long Island Railroad.

  3. Not PATH, that system is a NJ system. From NYC to Connecticut you can take the MTA Metro North commuter rail system which operates frequent service between NYC and New Haven with several intermediate stops such as Bridgeport. Additionally, you can transfer to the CT transit commuter rail line to New London from New Haven and also can take a CT Transit express bus between the Metro North New Haven station and Hartford. Good Luck!

  4. Amtrak can take you from NYC to almost anywhere in CT.
