Is there a pattern or way to tell where you're from by your license plates?

I've always noticed where I'm from in Minnesota, a small town called Walker, between Brainerd and Bemidji. You can tell by the license plates who is a local but you can't tell where the non-local's are from. Is there a way to tell?

In Minnesota, we don't put our county's name on the license plate.

Any idea's?

  1. no there is no way to tell but if you look at there stickers in the windows they might be high school mascot stickers telling you the town!

  2. Yes.  Wonder thinks all license plates should look like this:

  3. If there is no county on then plate, I don't think there is a way. You are more likely to be able to know when they got the plate. I do not think the location affects the pattern of the numbers and letters on the plate.
