After the "new charts" were offered I clicked on "Yes" I would like to see the new ones, now they will not come upl and I don't know how to get back to the old ones I use in my investment work. I need instructions so I can acces the old and new ones, preferably a person to talk to.

  1. Well, sounds like quite a pickle you're in.

Let me try to help you get back to basic charts first and then give you a couple of other sites w/ free charts.

To get from the beta charts to the "classic" charts, click on the option for "classic" charts near the top of the page.  If your page doesn't come up at all, then I suggest you clear your cookies and try again.  It seems to be working now for most people that I'm aware of.

Other sites to use include bigcharts.com, prophet.net, stockcharts.com.  All of these have some free charting svcs that are very good.

If none of the above suits you, you'll probably need to contact customer care.  Here's how to do that.

Once in Yahoo!Finance, at the top right of the page, there's a help link. Click on that to get your here

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Then click on one of the links on the left like quote basics. Here's that page:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Finally, at the bottom is the contact customer care button. Yes, it's convoluted, but that's one way to get there!

Oh, or just click here (if it works). (hard for me to test if it works since I clicked through to get there)

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Once you get there and ask your question, they're pretty good at getting back to you, but you may have to ask/answer back and forth a couple of times.

    Hope that helps!
