  1. There is no proof for some people while anything is proof for others.   If you want to see glaciers in Glacier National Park in MT you'd better hurry.   Since its inception when it had over 100, it has lost most of them.   It's expected that they all will be gone within another 10 years.

  2. Global warming always happens after one ice age, but before another.

  3. There are places in America that are rebounding upwards due to isostatic rebound which means the moving upwards due to the former presence of giant ice sheets a kilometer thick.  That was a few thousand years ago.  Since then, the glaciers have generally been retreating.  The great lakes are a feature of that last period of glaciation.

  4. some people use glaciers in the US as proof of global warming but the truth is that at one point the whole of the United States was one huge block of ice. this is more commonly known as The Ice Age. we've all heard about it. the glaciers are just the last iced parts so yes they are melting just like the whole of the US did at some point. it does show global warming  as the temperatures have been rising ever since the ice age but it doesnt give evidence to support the scaremongering that is now known as global warming. hope that helps!

  5. No. There is no place on earth that proves global warming.

  6. There are some glaciers that are melting, as there are some that are increasing.

As an example: Mt St Helen had the top blown off the mountain 28 years ago when this volcano erupted, and cause the glaciers there to melt into the rivers.  Now the glaciers are back even though the peak isn't as high.

There is no indication of extreme weather in the US that can be attributed to "global warming"  The conditions in the 1930's were far worse, long before anyone ever heard of AGW.

  7. See http://www.worldviewofglobalwarming.org/...  which contains pictures and text of permafrost temperatures and glacial retreat in various places including Alaska.
