  1. Irish people living abroad can't vote in Irish elections or referenda unless they're working for a consulate or the spouse of a consulate employee.

But you might want to check with your nearest embassy, a list of Irish consulates in the US:

  2. it's Mexico city.......

  3. hang on why should you get a vote, you don't live in Ireland, are you not American ?? this issue concerns the people that live in Ireland not the folk who have left

  4. If you live in philli then there is the IRish club, and they hold voting there!

  5. Irish people had developed 'the Shillong', ' old capital' of 'olden Assam'; please go-through the history of Shillong; 'Khasi' 'tribe' are educated about 80%,  very good / nice population and they taught ' the dignity of labour' in Shillong, near 'DONBOSCO', THE CHURCH AND SCHOOL, my friends 'Khasis'; Christeins explained to me, for four years DURING 1963 -1967,  in Shillong; 'HOW CAN I FORGET IT' ! My hats are lying-down 'low' !
