  1. Yes Greenland and Alaska


  2. The Arctic circle in the north usually does not have temperatures above freezing that often, as well as Antarctica which rarely gets above freezing too.

    Also very high elevations, such as Mount Everest are very cold too.

  3. I know Antarctica is the coldest place on earth. The North Pole and i'm sure many northern areas of the globe stay cold all year, but i think that most, if not all of Antarctica stays below 0 all year long. Maybe a lot colder than that. I know that at Vostok station in Antarctica, the world record low temperature of -128.56 degrees F took place in 1983.

  5. Yes. I think that Green Land is like that, but I'm not really for sure.

  6. The North and South poles are pretty nippy all year round. You certainly wouldn't want to go around in a t-shirt even in summer!
