Is there a place where you can take either paper or cardboard that has wax on it? Are there any websites that would have information?

  1. I'm sure someone will post www.earth911.org

Generally no, unless you have vast quantities.  Both can be composted, but it takes a very long time.

David-waxed paper and cardboard will rot, it just takes a little longer.  Commercial composting facilities have no problem handling waxed paper and cardboard.

  2. We burn that type of trash in Broward County. That's the simple way to get rid of something burnable that won't rot.
