Question:

Is there a place to store luggage at St. Pancras or Kings Cross?

Or anywhere nearby? I read about the Excess Baggage luggage hold service in the circle at the street level, but they cost 6 GBP or something ridiculous like that.

Maybe there is a nearby hotel/hostel that will hold my bags for a smaller fee?

I only need to leave them there for about 4 hours or so, and then I'll be back.

Thanks for the advice!

  1. The Excess Baggage Company, which you referenced, operates left luggage facilities at both Kings Cross and St. Pancras.  This is an independent company and is the only public luggage storage facility at most stations anymore.  You can find more information at their website http://www.excess-baggage.com/  6GBP is very reasonable.  If you think that's bad try storing a bag at Heathrow.

Here is the direct link to the locations of their London Rail Station locations: http://www.excess-baggage.com/station_co...

  2. Sorry but there is no public luggage storage anywhere any more in public places thanks to 911. I would think that 'your' thouight of asking a small b&b would be a great idea. And  would ask more that one place if they would do this for you and hopefully they would but more that likely you're gong to have to rely on your good looks and charm :)))) to get som one to take on that responsibility,..
