Question:

Is there a place to view the NASCAR rule book online?

Just wondering, I would like to see where they come up with some of this stuff...it seems like they change and make up new rules at will. Does anyone know if it is online anywhere? I heard they keep it under lock and key, but why would they need to?

I didn't like what they did to Vickers at the end yesterday, and that is the first time I've ever seen someone a full second ahead of another car get put behind them under caution.

I am not crying, I just hate how they pick and choose who they penalize

  1. I know what you are saying 'bestanswer' and I agree. >Go Kyle Busch<  said it better than anyone could.  But lets face it.  If NASCAR let Jr. win they sure aren't going to reverse their decision.  Let him have his "win" it isn't like there will be many more.

Here is what I dug up.

NASCAR issues five different Rule Books, each of which includes in its title reference to a particular NASCAR-sanctioned series. There is a 2008 NASCAR Rule Book for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, a 2008 NASCAR Rule Book for the NASCAR Nationwide  Series, Grand National Division, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NASCAR Regional Touring Series and NASCAR Weekly Racing Series.

Each NASCAR Rule Book is published exclusively for NASCAR members.

  2. nope ..only each team has a rule book. and they are not made public

  3. No.  Nascar rule books are only given to the teams.

... and I agree, lots of strange things happened yesterday.....

  4. YEAH, www.nascarcheatsforcertaindrivers.com

  5. you are crying and so are a lot of the people who are answering here... junior won get over it, did they penalize vickers for aggressive driving at the end of the talladega that he won, did they penalize kurt busch, jeff gordon, or matt kenseth at the end of the bristol race... no just man up and get over it, he won it is a new week with a new race on sunday

  6. Yes and I guarantee if that was Kyle Busch or someone really hated in NASCAR, you would see 50,000 questions on here pointing out that he was in direct violation of the ruels. But the first time you make a post that JR had a lot of things go his way, you are bashed to no end by the JR Nation brats.

  7. I know this is a tab bit off topic, but I can't believe I just found several other Vickers fans.  When I was at the race yesterday, I was a lone man wearing a Red Bull Racing shirt getting dirty looks from the Jr nation mob surrounding me when I cheered for Vickers.

  8. They added a new rule yesterday.

    Rule # 1039

If Jr. is in contention to win the race, be sure to send a fat nascar official to block one of the fastest cars on pit road, allow Jr. to drive past the pace car, send the other faster car behind someone who will run out of fuel no matter where they were really at, allow drivers to push each other under caution to conserve fuel, and if anyone starts to spin out throw the caution flag out faster than you've ever thrown it out before in your life so that the race can end.

  9. Every driver gets screwed every now and then. I thought it was a shame what they did to Carl Edwards at the beginning of the season.

  10. Under lock and key is stating it loosely "Best".  It's actually in severe violation for anyone to make the rule book public or to transfer to a second party.  I was just reading about this the other day actually on Jayski.

  11. NOPE! Sorry. I don't like what they did to Brian Vickers either, but what can you do?

  12. try www.getoverit.com

  13. No.  You are crying and you need to stop. It's over and done. It's in the record book which is online at nascar.com
