Is there a place were you can take cigarrete buds and recycle them to get money????

I am doing a community service project and i am recycling- but what we found more than cans and bottles was cigarrete buds..... my partners' sister told her that there is a place you could go to but i don't know if this is true.......

No, there's not anywhere to recycle them. Just throw them into the dumpster.

No...and you probably shouldn't handle them without protection, given the biologics and chemicals trapped within them.

recent studies show there are some types of fungus/mushroom that can break down the cigarette butts....

maybe it wont be too far off then?

I really doubt it. Smoking is a dangerous habit that should be illegal.

You could try to call your local recylcying center. They'd probably have an answer for you.
