Age will be a Problem, I'm pretty sure 21 is the minimum legal age to rent a bike.

Look in your local yellow pages.  Some Harley dealerships across the country do rent them for the day.

There is an Eagle Rider in Long Beach that rents BMW motorcycles. I rented a 650 from them for $100 a day. They also have much larger bikes. Your boyfriend will need to have a M cert. on his license to be able to rent from them.
