  2. All you really need to do is buy a dvd recorder-vcr combo unit. It will cost you about 120-160 dollars. Now you can do the work yourself (it would be great if you had a son, boyfriend or husband -in that order [better if you had all three]), then they could do the transfers for you. If you take it to a shop... it will cost you more and you wont have a dvd reorder when your done.
