I don't want the west coast rains to much and is expensive to live there. The east coast bad winters...I just want long summers...with sunny warm days Is there even such a place?? 1. I live in Vancouver and I think the weather is the best here. It rains a lot but at least the temperature is mild. There might a few other places here on the west coast that may be less expensive to live in. You just won't be in the urban areas. In Victoria, it rains less than Vancouver so you can try looking for areas around Victoria which may be cheaper to live in.

  2. If you are looking for a place with no weather you should try California or Florida.  The places in Canada that have long summers also have cold winters.

  3. No... Canada definately is a winter country with some areas having more extreme winters  (prairies and north) and others less so.

Southern ontario Barrie, where you are right now is pretty much as good as it gets in the interior of the country,  you might find Torornto city itself to be more tolerable as the big city concrete/pavement doesnt get as cold as the boonies where you are now with ends and snow of Lake Simcoe.

Calgary gets the most "sunshine days" per year but it gets mighty cold in winter and winter goes from Oct-May.

I now live In vancouver, used to be in Newmarket...and yes it rains alot in winter here but rarely drops below freezing and only a few days a year with snow on the ground.   Most winter days overcast, drizzle or misty and 40-50F..

From May-October 65-80 and not lots of rain and no humidity so very pleasant.

Rain.. you get used to that... sort of

  4. Temperatures in the 70-80s most of the year? You must be new to Canada. We don't have such a place. Maybe southern California does but I think you'll have to go further south than even that. Bermuda comes close, good luck trying to emigrate there.
