I'm a Red Sox fan so I'd like to see A-Rod on the Red Sox. He's a great player!

Who would you want to see?

  1. I'm a Phillies fan and I'd like to have David Wright from the Mets on the Phillies. He's a great player and our 3rd base is pretty weak right now. Plus, that would weaken the Mets a lot :] haha

    Great question!

  2. I wish we could have Gavin Floyd from the White Sox, even though we already have 5 wonderful starting pitchers

  3. This may seem weird since the mariners are so bad and unrecognized, but the mariners and yankees have played eachother in the playoffs a few times during the few times the m's can scramble together a team, and one player the mariners could use is Chien Ming Wang when he gets healthy due to the fact he is perfect against the m's every freaking time! To yankee fans out there I will trade Ichiro for melky cabrera any day. sorry Ichi!.........we need kids on our team

  4. I would love to see evan longoria to the boston redsox

  5. Met fan n i want chase utley at second

  6. im a yankees fan and id like papi and beckett and hedki okajema

  7. im a diehard mets fan, but i gotta say I wouldnt mind having chipper jones on my team. or chase utley. the guys play the game right, as much as i loathe and detest them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. I am going to answer this question with a story.

It is the year of David Ortiz' free agency and the yankees are discussing who to sign, acquire, and/or negotiate with.

George Steinbrenner is mentioning names and the name David Ortiz comes up in the discussion. George says they should sign him and make him their first baseman. Brian Cashman completely disagrees and immediately shoots down the idea. The yankees eventually end up with Jason Giambi and the Redsox end up with Ortiz. May not have been the same year but still thats how it ended up.

ANYWAY, David Ortiz was almost a yankee. As for the player i want on my team it is probably Josh Beckett when he is healthy. Of course the yankees signed pavano instead of him!

  9. I wouldn't mind having Josh Beckett myself.

  10. Having Albert Pujols on the Brewers would be nice.

  11. As a red sox fan, i would f***ing hate to have a rod on the team. He only delivers when it doesn't matter. He's one of the best players in baseball, but he is absolutely terrible in high pressure situations. The yankees or any team that has him will never win a world series as long as he's on it.

I might want jeter, he's a good solid player. and he CAN be clutch. And lugo is absolutely terrrible, so it'd be good to have someone as good as him at the shortstop position.

  12. Manny Ramirez of the Dodgers

  13. Im also a sox fan i would like to see jeter and arod in sox uniforms but idk that would cause to much conflict between arod and jvaratek

  14. I would like to see Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau, Curtis Granderson, (As Ozzie Guillen said "The Venezuelan piece of bleep," as a DH) Magglio Ordonez, and Cliff Lee on the White Sox.  Not only would it decimate the rest of the AL Central, but it would make the White Sox the best team in baseball.

  15. Mariano Rivera would be awesome on the Red Sox.  Right now, the bullpen is horrific and I wouldn't mind seeing Mo' set up Papelbon.  That's right.  Bring on the thumbs down.

  16. Aramis Ramirez would be a player I'd love to have. Or CC Sabathia. We could really use him too.

  17. yep.

As a White Sox fan,I'd love to have Joe Mauer or Derrek Lee on my team. They are very talented players and even though they are my teams rivals,I'd still love to have them on my team anyday.

  18. Derek Jeter. I would never want A-Rod on the Sox. A-Rod is a great player in the regular season, but come clutch time he dissapears. Jeter is  the kind of player who thrives on the pressure of the playoffs. Hey Yankee fans how about Jeter straight up for Julio Lugo!!

  19. Having CC Sabathia on the Cubs would rock.

    Starting Rotation

    1. Carlos Zambrano

    2. CC Sabathia

    3. Rich Harden

    4. Ted Lilly

    5. Ryan Dempster

    They would OWN

  20. Yankees fan. And I would love a healthy Josh Beckett on the Yanks. As nice as David Ortiz has been for Boston, a quality pitcher can work wonders for a team.

  21. i agree 100% with Cole M about Albert Pujols and wouldn't mind seeing A-Rod on the cubbies or red sox,Albert would work on Boston also, but that's just my opinion.

  22. James Loney or Matt Kemp. Giants need much more power in their lineup.

  23. it wouldn't kill to see albert pujols in cubby blue

  24. Yepp. My team is the A's and our rival would be the Angels. I would like to see Vlad on our team, we really need a power hitter and he would be great!

    Great Question. Here's a star =]

  25. I am a Braves fan and wouldn't mind having Mets Johan Santana :).

  26. I am also a Redsox fan and I would like anybody else because I wouldn't wanna replace our awsome roster if anyone I would pick

A-Rod but i wouldn't like to get rid of Mike Lowell as I said we have a awome roster or actually if they don't keep Jed Lowrie then Derek Jeter instead of Juilo Lugo.

  27. As a Yankees fan I would like to see Mike Lowell on the Yankees. He reminds me of the type of player who would fit perfectly with the Yankees during their Championship seasons in the late 90's.

  28. I would LOVE to see Josh Hamilton playing for the sox. I really think that Josh is a great player and can be a better bat than Coco or Ellsbury can provide. Sure ellsbury is fast but he isn't hitting that well.

  29. Dodger fan, I'd love to have Lincecum from the Giants.

  30. I am a Phillies fan and I wouldn't mind seeing Ryan Howard play for Mets. The strikeouts are killing me.

  31. Really?  You guys just got rid of Manny and now you think A-Rod would be less of a clubhouse cancer?

    Interesting...

I'd like to see the Rangers get some pitching!!! The Rangers don't really have any real rivals like BoSox/Yankees or Cubs/Cards, so any pitcher, Lincecum or Sabathia, preferably.  Plus, I wouldn't mind K-Rod from the Angels.

And as for the Orioles... We need pretty much everything! =)

After all, we ARE rebuilding, and that's what rebuilding is: needing almost everything so starting over lol.

So, yeah.  I'd like to have a good offensive shortstop; I've gotten so used to having an offensively strong shortstop (Cal Ripken Jr., Miguel Tejada) that I'm having trouble adjusting to the hole in the lineup...
