Is there a plugin to integrate AIM and FireFox, or ThunderBird and Firefox?

For Firefox, I'd just like some kind of a notifier to see if I've received any mail on Thunderbird, and for AIM I'd like a sidebar or something. I've tried Yoono, but I don't particularly like their privacy policy... thanks!

Try Meebo and Simple Mail extensions for Firefox. Meebo can connect to many Instant Messengers, including AIM, and Simple Mail can be configured to connect and show pop up alerts to any POP3 mail.
