I had a recent injury and my testosterone is shot

This is such a nightmare

Is there a point to life if you are unable to attract members of the opposite s*x? Before this the only thing that made me feel good was being around girls and knowing I had the chance to be with girls, it was the only thing that ever brought me peace

Now my life is one complelete nightmare

I also wont take drugs or injections because I know they are unnatural and I try to keep my body as natural as possible and I know I could never really attract a girl if I was artificially attracted to her

Is there a purpose to life if you can no longer attract a member of the opposite s*x?

The Depression I have been feeling the last month is unimaginable

  1. pashsa39571 makes a lot of sense.  Hormone Replacement therapy (IHRT) not only is good for sexual therapy, but as a male, low testosterone can also affect other areas.  Loss of drive or ambition, depression and loss of energy are all attributed to low testosterone.  Also, there is also been studies linking this to diabetes, low bone density and other potential ailments.

Have you even talked to an endocrinologist to see what kind of medical treatment is available for you?  You treatment may be as simple as applying a tube of Testim once a day.  There's nothing unnatural about testosterone replacement, and replenishing the body's inability to generate this hormone can only creat good things for you.

At least talk to a doctor and see what sort of treatment is available, as well as a discussion with a professional who may be able to explain all the benfits of having such treatment.

    good luck

  2. There is more to life than s*x. Think of all the possibilities that exist.  Use your energy to help others.  Find something to do that you can be your passion...whether it be a job, a hobby or relationship (does not have to be sexual).  Also get yourself some counseling or professional help. Many people have full and interesting lives without s*x. Don't give up.

  3. Of course there is a purpose to life if -

You know what, you can still attract girls just like you always did and always will.

The real problem now is the depression.   Depression will keep things real down - if you catch my drift.

There are many ways to make love to a woman.

When you conquer the depression, and you will, you will find out how fascinated women are with you.

    There is a purpose.

  4. is your 'problem' you having low-self-a-steam, have you changed physically in any way? If not its self a steam. But to answer your question... I have no clue. Sorry

  5. Well i sure cant put myself in your shoes, but there is always a point to life, i lost both my parents in less than a half year, its tough being all alone, i can relate to that. If your personality is good, you will find someone who doesnt care about this, and love you for you.

  6. i have found that making other peoples' lives miserable has been very rewarding for me.  try that.

  7. If the doc say that the hormones will help you feel normal then get them.  Going on like you are isn't the answer.  I am an older female and many of my peers take hormone replacements and are doing just fine.  Keep yourself as healthy as possible and get some counseling.  take care...

  8. There is nothing wrong with taking Hormone Replacement Therapy. In your case this would be testosterone.

    Think of it this way...

Testosterone is natural and a male hormone made within (all) bodies, to differing degrees whether male or female. An imbalance can cause many issues, loss of sexuality being one of them.

If you were to be prescribed testosterone to ensure you remain healthy and happy and have a good quality of life....I'm sorry, but I don't see the problem?

Un-natural??? Artificial??? No, not in my opinion, it is the most natural thing in the world. You are merely taking it to ensure your body is as it should be instead of your body producing it.

It is still the same substance, where ever it comes from.

I see no difference from those with diabetes, thyroid problems, heart problems (beta blockers) etc.

The lack of testosterone is also causing your lack of self esteem and confidence. You have become more and more depressed as you convince yourself you have little left to offer. Please, reconsider the meds and live again...
