Question:

Is there a possibility that I could be pregnant??

I stopped taking the mini-pill round about the middle of last month. I had a slight mid-cycle bleed about 16 days after I had my normal period. And then when my period was due, it didn't turn up. I thought that it might have turned up maybe 30 days after my mid-cycle bleed, but it still hasn't.

Now, I got another perscription for the mini-pill from the doctors almost 2 weeks ago this Thursday, and I got the doctor to test me for pregnancy with just a normal urine pregnancy test while I was there just in case I may have been pregnant, as my period was 5 days late. The doctor said that it was negative, but I am just wondering why hasn't my period turned up before now? It has now been 46 days since I had a proper period, and it has been 30 days since I had my mid-cycle bleed. Has anyone else had these sorts of problems, or do you think that I could be pregnant???

  1. If your taking the pill then you stopped of course your period will be unregulated. I've had problems like this before. Nothing to worry about. Do another pregnancy test.

  2. I didn't get my period for two months,

if you've been sick or gained/lost a lot of weight during then that might be something

  3. take a test to be sure

  4. See a gyne for a check up, could be a hormone issue. I have PCOS and had delayed periods sometimes up to 40+ days

  5. wrong section

  6. Things like the pill can mess up your cycle, especially when your playing around with it, (in terms of coming off the pill) give it another few weeks if you don't get them then go to the doctor. But don't start back on the pill until then.
