Is there a prescribed size for the height and/or width of a speed bump.? do they have to be easily seen?

is there a minimum speed that you should be able to drive over one without getting shaken about?

  2. yes yes and yes there must be an set height for these's bloody things do as the young ones do here go up on the pavements wish i could to avoid them

    They are a nuisance - responsible for a lot of damage to vehicles and slow down everyone - including emergency vehicles.

    There have been quite a few instances of humps being installed by councils that are too high etc and have been removed fater complaints.
