  1. If it's just a few for personal use then no. If it's a lot for retail purposes then u have to pay tax


  2. if your brining them in in quantity for sale then u have to pay taxes, but just a few thousand of your personal stock  might go unnoticed!

    I think the limit on gifts/ commercial items is 500 US per trip at customs

  3. No the wouldn't be a problem if you taking them for your own use but if its for sale then you would have to pay tax

  4. If you are bring certain items into jamaica with the intent to leave them here, you will be required pay customs duties on those items.

    CDs and electronics are such dutiable items. if you are carrying more of them than would be normal for personal use while on vacation, you will be charged for them. Also, if they are in thier original packaging (plastic shrinkwrapping), it may appear that you plan to sell them. In that case they would want to charge import duties as such.
