Is there a program I can use on the computer to edit out something in a picture?

For example, I'm taking pictures to send to a modeling agency and I wanted to take something out of the background that I don't think looks good. It's a bathroom window that is slightly ugly, but if I could somehow re-create the wall over it or something...

if you don't know how to do it, it will be almost impossible, even if you had the software.  send it to an online editing service like www.picturescue or picturefix.com

open image duplicate layer, create new layer, place layer below duplicate, either edit wall, or create new wall, select window area and delete or patch with other parts of wall images,
