Is there a program for Mac OS similar to Limewire?

I know that Limewire runs on Mac OSX but i dont like limewire for various reasons, and i have a program called acquisition but it doesnt download nearly as fast as limewire, any suggestions?

  1. I think your best bet is to use bittorrent. I'm pretty sure "Transmission" is the gold standard right now for Mac.
