Is there a program (free) that I can create PDF files?

Question

I am looking for a free program that I can download to create PDF file formats. Can anyone help me out. I have Adobe Reader 9, but don't let me create them. Any help is appreciated. I am running Windows XP Home Edition

There's bunches of programs that create pdf files other than Adobe Acrobat.  YOu just need to search for them.

Well you can use Primo PDF

I used that program in Mircosoft Word but I'm pretty sure you can use it in other programs - it makes itself act like a printer and it will "print" the data to a PDF

Or use OpenOffice Writer, which has the option to create a PDF

Or for an online option, you can use Google Docs

I think CutePDF is another option but I've never tried it
