Is there a program or way to insert date on multiple photos?

Question

I recently purchased a new Sony H3 camera and love it with the exception that it does not imprint the date that the picture was taken.

Now I can imprint the date using the program that came with the camera (Picture Motion Browser) however you have to do it one at a time.

Is there a program that can do a batch of photos or multiple photos all at one time?

It should be in the EXIF but if you want to alter your picture, you can buy Breeze Browser to do it as a batch.

If you want a free way to do it as a batch, IrfanView can do it, but you'll have to read the help files to do it.
