Is there a program that will ask for a password when downloading things?

Ok well when my friends come over they download a bunch of things that I dont need for my computer which slows it down, and then every time they leave I have to uninstall each program every time. -_-

I've told them to stop downloading things but they just wont listen :K

So my questions is, if there are any programs out there that ask for a password when you download something?

Turn on the Guest account, they wont be able to install things. You can let anyone use this account.

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Guest

As others have said, password your account. Enable a guest account for your friends to use, and make them use it.. This lessons the potential damage they can do.

If these were my "friends", I would tell them they cannot use my PC.

You could just set up a password for your account on windows and then make anouther user account but do not make it administrator account

this way they can not download nothing in your computer as long as they do not know your password
