Is there a proper way to accept a grant for education?

Hubby and I just received an email from some very kind folks, informing us that they are going to give us grants to help pay for our university education. We are absolutely delighted, and really appreciate the thought and the offer, but we don't know how to properly accept the grants. Do you?
