  1. Duct tape! fixes everything from leaky pipes to holes in pockets, and sticks to EVERYTHING.

  2. YOU FIRST HAVE TO DISCONNECT THE PLUMBING FROM THE DRAIN THEN PUT TWO SCREWDRIVERS INTO THE SINK DRAIN TO HOLD THE DRAIN IN PLACE THEN HAVE YOUR HELPER GO UNDER THE SINK WITH A PAIR OF PLIERS HE WILL SEE A NUT APPX 2 INCHES WIDE WHILE YOU HOLD THE TOP HE CAN TURN THE NUT CCW ONCE OFF CLEAN BOTTOM OF THE SINK APPLY PLUMBERS PUTY AR ROUND ENTIRE LIP REINSTALL WITH NEW RUBBER AND PAPER WASHERS

  3. See  that you have all the help you will need to alleviate the leak. So I'll head elswhere.

  4. super fast to get most of the water, plastic bread bag...weasel it in there and wrap wire or string or whathave you to direct the water.

Chances are the sink drain is rusted thru.   When you dissassemble it be prepared to do more than replace the rubber.  You may have to replace the basket and tailpipe and do some unscrew this and replace that kind of plumbing.

  5. Unscrew it, fill with plumbers putty or replace rubber gasket then s***w it back together.

  6. The best way is to remove the whole thing and put plumbers putty around the base .  There is no quick fix, because it will leak again.  Because the leakage is from the top ring and the puddy has to fill all the space, before u re-install it.

  7. The sink drain is most probably made of plastic and would have a big nut try tightening this nut wrap a cloth around it first to help with the leverage. If this doesn't cure the problem it may well need resealing. normally this is just sealed by a rubber gasketunder the trap beteen the stainless steel and the trap then a spongy gasket on the underside then the nut. You may have to dismantle clean and re seal with either new washers or with plumbers mate or silicon. If you opt for silicon you will need to let it cure over night. good luck

  8. Quick fix, would probably be some epoxy if it is metal

if it is white or black plastic, (PVC) or (ABS)

    then maybe some silicone
