Is there a "Do not re-hire" blacklist for target?

I worked at Target my freshmen year of college as a Cart Attendant. One winter morning I did not show up and quit without a 2 week notice. Now after some growing up and realizing the folly of my ways it is nearly 2 years later and I am wanting to apply for a summer internship with Target HQ. Does anyone know if I am blacklisted from the company or if I would be able to intern for them still? I have 2 solid references from people who have been with the company for 5 years who would recommend and vouch for me but would that be enough or does anyone know if I have burned my bridges?

They do- my friend did something similar.  But, try for the internship anyway.  What's the worst that can happen?

Every company has a type of "Blacklist". You may be able to get the internship. Try for it, the worst that will happen is that you would be told no.

only way to tell is to apply again-just don't do leave any future jobs the way you did that one - it WILL come back to haunt you in the future
