Is there a "deep end" and "shallow end" to an Olympic pool?

  1. The Pool is the same depth all the way threw because if they do a 50m relay you would only be able to dive at one end of the pool and if you have noticed there is starting blocks at both ends


  2. "FR 2.3 Depth - A minimum depth of 1.35 metes, extending from 1.0 metre to at least 6.0 metres from the end wall is required for pools with starting blocks. A minimum depth of 1.0 metre is required elsewhere."
