Is there a "deep end" and "shallow end" to an Olympic pool?

The Pool is the same depth all the way threw because if they do a 50m relay you would only be able to dive at one end of the pool and if you have noticed there is starting blocks at both ends

"FR 2.3 Depth - A minimum depth of 1.35 metes, extending from 1.0 metre to at least 6.0 metres from the end wall is required for pools with starting blocks. A minimum depth of 1.0 metre is required elsewhere."
