Sucrolose, aspertame, etc.

I know aspertame is pretty nasty but is there any artificial sweetner that isn't that bad for you and won't give you cancer ;)

  1. They are all toxic!

I would suggest using raw sugar, honey, all natural apple juice, or brown rice syrup.

    Good luck!

  2. Splenda is pretty good and you can cook/bake with it spoon for spoon just like sugar. It doesn't turn to cinder ash when heated during cooking/baking. They have a brown sugar version, too.

  3. Splenda has been found to take longer to digest than regular sugar so it makes you fat if you drink all Splenda stuff so say No to Splenda...nasty after taste also

  4. I like Splenda.

  5. No they are all bad for you and taste horrible.

Stevia is a good natural sweetener that you can get in liquid or powder form at Walmart... A little goes a long way!

  6. SPLENDA is your best bet.  It is actually made from natural sugar.  I use it for baking, in my cereal or anywhere you might want to add sugar.

I find it has no after taste at all.  When I bake with it, I find that I use slightly less of that than regular sugar.

There are many thoughts on the different sweeteners that are available. You have to decide for yourself what to use.
