Since my current radio that receives TV audio will be useless after the switch to DTV, is there another product on the market that will let me replace that capability? Is there an HD Radio that will also receive DTV audio?

  1. Try an ICOM model IC-R5-06 or a model IC-R20.  It will let you listen to just about anything including the old and new TV channels plus AM, FM, Shortwave, Police, Fire, Ham, Marine, etc.  They are a bit pricey, but they will absolutely do what you want.

    Go to www.texastowers.com for details.

Good luck and 73 from the Fisherman

  2. Yes, but only 2 - 13.  These use an FM signal the radios which show them can still receive.  Usually there's a switch on the band selector to do this.
