Question:

Is there a real english organisation similar to the American programme NCIS...? ?

I am 13 and considering job careers. Every single possibility is to do with government and/or law.

I know the programme NCIS glamorises what actually happens and I do realise that so please don't leave silly answers saying that it's a lot more tough in reality.

  1. Assuming you mean the Naval Criminal Investigation Service then the nearest equivalent would be a Regulator in the Special Investigation Branch of the Royal Navy Police. You need to have served in the Royal Navy (or Royal Marines) for at least four years before you can apply for the Royal Navy Police. You then need to attain a senior non-commissioned officers rank (Petty Officer/Sergeant) or a commision before you can apply for the Special Invesitigation Branch.
