Is there a reasonably priced hotel near the Rome airport (FCO) not actually in Rome but near the airport ?

I will be arriving very late at the airport and I do not want to go all the way into Rome because I will be on a ship in the morning. Is there a hotel recommendation for one night under $100 nearby?

Yes, but it depends when you will travel. Here (http://www.centransit.bg/english/home.ht... you can check and even book a hotel. I can tell you right now the prices for the middle of August are around $60.

There are some in Ostia Antica, Fiumicino, and Lido di Ostia. You might consider this one - http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome_ostia/l... This place has a 24 hr front desk which is good if you're arriving late. Not all places around there do. You can use the Venere site to find other options around the airport; it will allow you to sort by price.
