Is there a recipe for the Starbucks Carmel Macchiato that uses coffee? I don't have an expresso machine!!

  1. Not a problem.  Just substitute strong coffee for espresso.


  2. To make a Starbucks macchiato iced you would mix vanilla flavor with your milk, put in a lot of ice, pour about an inch (2 oz) of your REALLY strong coffee slowly on ice, then take caramel sauce and drizzle all over the top.

    To make it hot without an espresso machine, there is a special secret to getting your milk foamy/silky like in a latte. . . heat it up then put it in your blender on high!  Pour it in your cup with vanilla mixed in, add strong coffee on top, then drizzle the caramel.

    If you buy the french roast coffees, they are sometimes stronger, and you can get the torani or davinci vanilla syrup at most stores in the coffee section, for the caramel you could just use the ice cream type caramel topping.
