Is there a record for the highest PT score in the US ARMY?

  1. 300 is the highest possible score. There is an extended scale, but it is irrelevant. The extended scale is only used for bragging rights and the only time I've seen it used in in training environments.

That is actually something that cannot be calculated because of the way the tests are graded.  They are very subjective with wide variances as to how individuals grade pushups and situps.  There is a standard as to how you are SUPPOSED to grade them, but when one grader is more "lax" than another, how can you really say if everyone is on a level playing field when each extra pushup and each extra situp add a point.  In other words, would a record truly be a record if a grader didn't count a bunch of pushups that another grader would have counted?

    EDIT: What is interesting are all the thumbs down, yet none of the people that are giving thumbs down have anything to add that is otherwise.  Basically they are saying that we are all wrong, yet do not know the right answer themselves... interesting.
