  1. there are 7 layer dips

    there are 7 little dwarfs

    there are 7 deadly sins

    there are 777's

the 7's are really just a manifestation of human thought, but then i guess you could view that as then having a relationship with all things

  2. Yes. There are seven other planets besides Earth because Pluto is a "dwarf planet."

  3. The configuration of the number, is every bit as meaningful as the amount of the number. Only the # 4 and 7 are angular. Where it goes from there, is beyond comprehension.

  4. 7 seems to be an important number to the human mind, but it is not in everything.

We choose to see seven colours in the rainbow, and the chakras, dimensions and healing rays are a concept, not a certainty - meaning they are a construct of our minds.  What is indigo really?

Anyway, if you are looking for a pattern that shows up everywhere, the one you should look at is Fibonacci's sequence.

Check it out, it is really cool.

  5. No.  There is not.  Check out facts about Fibonacci numbers, very COOL stuff!!!

  6. 1/7 = 0.142857 142857...

    2/7 = 0.2857 14285714...

    3/7 = 0.42857 1428571...

    4/7 = 0.57 142857 1428...

    5/7 = 0.7 142857 14285...

    6/7 = 0. 857 142857 142...

The importance is the recurrence of 142857.

This is the frequency at which the universe resonates.

    360/7 = 51.42857 142857 142857 ...

That's the angle of the sides of the great pyramid at egypt.

  7. seven sisters (oil company)

  8. 7 days in a week, 7 swaras in carnatic music, 7 layers of skin, earth is the 7th planet from outside, 3 n 4 are considered powerful and its sum happen to be related to this universe in a lot of way.

But just tell me what are the 7 dimensions. i am gonna star ur question hoping u to add tat additional detail..

  9. It's just a stupid number -- don't get hung up over it. What are 7 dimensions, healing rays and layers of the earth by the way ?? None of them are real. Sounds all like new age gibberish to me. Don't forget seven swans a swimming ....When you get a chance, please join us in the 21st century.

  10. Nope, no relationship to the number 7.  The number 3 is of course very important in philosophy and religion to christians as it is symbolic for good or the best.  Possibly 7 could have a similar relationship in some spiritual thinking.  The rest are just of bizarre interest.  If you want to see a cool number relationship in all of the world and don't want to spend time on the fibonacci sequence, look up phi or the golden ratio.  Entire churches have been dedicated to this and it is supposedly "gods" number.  Seen in all of natural and everywhere.  It is the numeric equivalent to beauty in chaos theory.

  11. No, there is no relationship with the number 7.

Where did you get 7 dimensions?

    The standard model says 4.

    M-theory says 11. [ http://www.fortunecity.com/emachines/e11... ]

Is there significance with perfect numbers?

    3 - ??

    6 - Genisis

    26 - Lunar cycle

    496 - not a clue

I don't know the other 2(?) known perfect numbers.

Perhaps it would be interesting to note that there are 4 characters in one's genetic code (G A T C).

    Many numbers are important.

I would not say that you could say that any one is particularly super important.

  12. Not in all things but in many important areas, yes. 7 notes in (some) musical scales, 7 is the atomic number of nitrogen, 7 digits in a phone number, 7 wonders of the ancient world, many religious references, the number of openings in the human head, 7 days in a week, 7 seas, 7 pillars of wisdom, 7 sisters, 007 james bond, 7-11, 7up, September means 7....look up the old roman calendar(interesting)

I've seen a few people mention the Fibonacci series but 7 is not a part of it. It is a naturally occurring sequence in universe and nature. Starting with zero, you add 1 plus the previous number. The series starts out like this. 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 and so on.

    Hope this helps, good question.
