  1. Religion arose simultaneously with the advent of farming, within the past 10,000 years...

    H. hablis & H. erectus were about 2 million years ago!


  2. No. Religions as we know of them today came much later than Habilis or Erectus. That is not to say that these human pre-cursors did not have thoughts that we would label as spiritual, but these new perceptions, ideas, and differing ways of seeing the world around them would eventually lead to a need for explanation. As with visible, external changes in morphology, our ancestor's neural networking must have evolved as well to keep up with the constantly changing environment. With this internal change, also came the need to explain, or put meaning to these changes. As popoulation centers grew, these ideas were put together as the first organized religions.

  3. I believe they don't have faith in anyone. They just idolize someone who can make fire. Lol at Quest for fire.
