  1. No, this is not possible - how can you monitor someone's details not relevant to surfing?  The only breakdowns possible are things like IP location of the visitor (usually by country), number of page views per visit, time per visit, and so on.  And normally, you have to pay for this service on your own website.

  2. Hi

I have a friend in advertising who was only telling me last week of the amazing range and details about users that certain sites can acquire.

Cuddles (other responder, above) is quite right with regard to the case specific details that each site can get from an individual visit, but she fails to allow for tracking cookies, which are used by many websites. These little programs sit on the computer, in the background, and track exactly what you do, and where- if you enter your name, and age on one site, the cookie can send this back to it's creator.

Advertiser are able to target certain age groups, sexes, wage earning brackets, etc, specifically because of this info.

I cannot suggest a site that will help you at this stage, but will ask my friend, and try to send you any details as I have them.

    Good luck...

  3. Yes. There are SEs linking to ISPs now. The ISP will have your profile and this will be passed to the advertisers so that they can target you. A company called Phorm is doing this.
