Is there a restore point ion cisco pix?

if i make changes to my pix and do not get the outcome i wanted, is there a restore option i can use to restore my old configuration? Oh, besides saving my original configuration.

Your fine if you have not done a write mem.

However for the future always copy the current config into a notepad, before modifying the running-config.

yeah copy startup-config backup-config

then to restore

copy backup-config startup-config

but if you get something you don't want, jsut dont save it to the startup-config file.  you get something you dont want, just restart the firewall
