  1. Any way you can get the peeling off is the right way.  I pull it towards me...and others I see shuck it away from them.  It is all on what is easier for you!

  2. no there is no certain way to peel potato,i guess!!

as long as u know how to hold the peeler and peel, that is the only thing u d need

  3. Not really, but skinning from bottom, to top works easiest, than flip it around, and peel the excess works best.

  4. What do you mean by that? It depends on the peeler or if you are using a knife, but also on what you want. I usually never ever peel my potatoes. To me it's a waste of time and I dislike doing it. I cook, bake, or whatever them in their skin. If I prepare something that needs the skin off I take it off after and I do that with a knife and my fingers, quite fast since they are already cooked and it just pulls off. Healthier too.

  5. In Culinary Arts and ETC they teach you to peel from the outside to the inside - this is for safety. Boring. (I think it gives them something to grade, hahahaha )

MOST people peel from inside to outside - and SO FAR I have not heard of anyone getting hurt, LOL

SO - there is no right or wrong way  (unless you are in culinary arts classes)

  6. NO! :) you can just use a VEGGI. peeler but now i see they make POTATO peelers. what i do if im using a knife. i CUT both ENDS of the potato and put one cut bottom the potato on the cutting board and i just run the knife down the potato. :)

    hope i helped! (:

    GOOD LUCK! :D
