My dog food bowl was filled with ants and it just put water in the bowl to wash away the ants, but later i found where all the ants were living and i sprayed bug poison on the ants nest. I dried up the poison but im just wondering.

  1. Be sure when you are trying to get rid of critters etc that you make sure it is safe for your animal or child just keep a eye on your dog. I think he should be ok.

  2. if you washed his bowl ,and he didn't eat the ants he/she will be fine . you can find out alot about animal poisoning on the web...

  3. most bug sprays say toxic to children and animals until dry.

  4. There is always a risk when you put poison down.

Watch your dog closely and if she starts to show ANY signs that are not normal, rush her to the vet.

If none of the poisoned ants were in her bowl, she didn't ingest any poisoned ants, and she wasn't near where you sprayed the poison, then the risk is a lot lower.
