  1. One is enouph, at the center buttom of the raquette. You can put others if you want, but they will only be useless. Hope this helps :)

  2. 1. USTA says one, but thats only if someone catches you, and if they do they're within punching range so go for that option.

  3. ive never heard of a rule for how many to use but one is enough .

  4. I have one and that's it..I don't think you need anymore than that.

  5. one..

  6. iv'e never heard of a rule that limits you to an amount of shock absorbers you can use, but 1 is enough

  7. ye, there is. For example i know the USTA tournaments only allow 1 shock absorbers. But if ur just hitting around, feel free to have as many as u like.

  8. You can have more than one dampener for as long as these are attached outside the string pattern

  9. yeah, ustas rule is actually that you can only have 1.

you can be disqualified from a tournament i think (at least penalized) if you have more then one and someone finds out by someone telling an official or if they see it

  10. There is in the USTA which is one.

  11. You are allowed to have multiple vibration dampeners, but they must both be below the bottom cross string.  Any dampener that's installed above the bottom cross string is illegal, even if it's your only one.

This applies to rubber band dampeners, too.

I checked the official USTA rules, and it never specifies a limit to number of dampeners, just location rules, and that they must be of reasonable size and placement.  So, you're probably only allowed what would be deemed a reasonable number on one racquet.
