I am told packages tend to disappear when sent there. I am sponsoring children through charitable organization. The book is 1 inch by 6 by 4 inches

  1. It will be more expensive but try DHL or Fedex because if you send it via the regular postal service it may get lost in the way. I;ve had tons of cd's, books, etc "lost" mysteriously in the local post service. Try one of those which will deliver the package personally to its destination.

  2. Sounds like you already have the book...otherwise, I'd suggest Amazon. I've had luck using them to ship books all over the world.

  3. well it is through my experience that things tend to get stolen...but either way you cant really stop it from happening no matter what way you send it...so just take the risk and hopefully it reaches the child..its better than not sending it at all! I'm so happy to know your helping the kids in my country :)

  4. My wife sent me 2 small boxes filled with my belongings to me in Honduras and I got them.  I just made sure to go to the post office everyday after she told me that she sent them.  I made sure it was known to the post office people that I had 2 packages coming from the U.S.  I went there just about everyday to check to see if they had come.

Thankfully nothing was stolen from my boxes and the only negative thing was I received them in 2 months.

Hope I was of some help to you.

(Also my wife sent them through USPS, so I'm sure if you sent a book it would get there safely).
