Is there a schematic I can build?

I hate the Time Warner policy of EXTRA LOUD COMMERCIALS. Is there a schematic I can build and add into my TV speaker system to keep the sound at a level my family can live with?

An audio compressor/limiter would work.  There are circuits at the web site below.  This would be fairly advanded.  I hope you have some experience with building circuits or know somebody that can help you.
