i.e. you have to pay Google to show your webpage in their results, is there a really concise engine which gives you every mention on the entire web of a given word or phrase? I've tried all the well-known ones. Thanks

  1. I don't think so. Your site should pop up because it exists however they all have there own systems. Search search engines for choices. Search search marketing for someone and a bargain to place it for you.

  2. not sure,,so wont say but good luck,,not much is free in this country.

  3. Google and Yahoo are the best. They normally base results on the number of links to your site. The more sites that link to yours the better since it indicates your site is popular. All search engines index sites by following links. If you create a new site and no one links to it then it will not appear in any search. There is no way to know it exists. There is usually a form you can fill out to tell them you exist but you will fall at the bottom with no links.

Indexes do not index every single word. They are smart enough to only index names and key items. You can also include search terms in metadata.
