Is there a second Full Metal Alchemist sires?

My friend told me that after Conqueror of Shamballa. There is a second sires. So is there?

actually, i was browsing today and if you go to animenewsnetwork, they mention that there is going to be a new F.M.S. series that follows the manga.so yes, there is going to be a second series.

No there's not. The Conquerer of Shamaballa is it. Anime series wise.

There's a manga series, but the anime strays from the manga after a certain point.

It'll be based on the original manga.

It'll air somewhere around April 2009 and run for a year.

The manga is undoubtedly better than the anime - really. Well - it IS the original after all.

The manga is different from the anime that was out - so the story will be completely different. It won't follow after the movie. They'll be more character and more twists.

Do you remember Greed and Ed's encounter in the Devil's Nest? Well the manga is completely totally different after that. And better too.

The manga can be easily read online - onemanga.com - though it is still ongoing - it'll probably finish by next year.
