Is there a semi-adhesive wallpaper, or some decorative sticky paper that can be removed from walls w/o marks?

My sister is having a baby boy soon and lives in an apartment in Manhattan. They are not allowed to paint their walls unless they paint them back and do not want to pant the walls of the nursery for ease when moving out. I suggested cutting out blue green and dark blue circles (she wants polka dot decor for the baby's room) of a sticky paper/plastic material that can adhere to a wall but be removed without damage - any suggestions? I know this stuff must exist I just don't know what it's called.

  1. Contact paper.  It comes in every color, you can cut out any shape you want and it's cheap!

    Tell her congratulations!

  2. Be careful.  There are 2 kinds of Contac paper. The permanent kind, and the repositional kind. Read the label.
