Is there a service I can call in the UK to ask for business/residential phone numbers and addresses?

There must be, so please tell me the number? And maybe what I have to ask for to be as clear as possible?

e.g. How do I ask for a person's address if I only know their full name -do I have to give her parent's name or ask for her?

forgive my ways, I don't speak english fluently. Please help me :)

  1. there are a number of 118 companies which are directory enquiery. there mostly very expensive to call.


  2. If you were to call 118 118 or any of the residential phone book numbers you will need there address .& there name .

    thephonebook.bt.com

    www.ukphonebook.com

    www.whitepages.co.uk

    yell.com


  3. Note - you cannot find the address from just the 'phone number legally, except in the Channel Islands where it is part of the public directory
